ANIMA AI Inc. (the "Company") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea and processes users' personal information as follows.

1. Information We Collect

• Sign-up / login: email address; profile provided by social/easy login (name, profile image). Toss (Apps in Toss) easy login provides your name.
• Service use: analyzed channel URLs/keywords, usage records (analysis/generation counts, timestamps)
• Payment: payment method information and history (payments are processed by a payment gateway; the Company does not store card details)
• Automatically collected: IP address, browser information, usage statistics (cookies, analytics)

2. Purposes of Use

• Member identification/authentication, service provision, and usage-limit management
• Payment, settlement, and refund processing
• Service improvement, statistical analysis, customer support
• Legal compliance and abuse prevention

3. Retention Period

• In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay upon account deletion.
• However, the following are retained as required by law:
  • Records of contracts, withdrawals, payments, and supply of goods: 5 years (E-Commerce Act)
  • Records of consumer complaints and dispute resolution: 3 years (E-Commerce Act)
  • Records of display/advertising: 6 months (E-Commerce Act)
  • Access logs: 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

4. Outsourcing of Processing

The Company outsources the following tasks for stable service operation, with contractual safeguards for personal information.

• Supabase — member authentication, database
• Vercel — service hosting
• Anthropic — AI analysis and content generation
• Upstash — caching and usage management
• PostHog — usage analytics
• PortOne — payment processing (cards, easy pay)
• Kakao — social login (Kakao account)
• Viva Republica (Toss) — Toss easy login (Apps in Toss mini-app)

5. Cross-Border Transfers

Some processors above operate servers overseas; personal information is transferred abroad (processing/storage) to provide the Service, disclosed pursuant to Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

* Timing/method of transfer: transmitted as needed over networks (API) at the time of service use.

• Supabase, Inc. (USA) — items: email, social profile, usage records / purpose: authentication, data storage / retention: until account deletion or end of contract
• Vercel, Inc. (USA) — items: IP, browser info / purpose: hosting / retention: until end of contract
• Anthropic, PBC (USA) — items: analysis inputs (channel URL, keywords, etc.) / purpose: AI analysis and generation / retention: used at processing time; not separately stored by the Company
• Upstash, Inc. (USA) — items: usage records and volume / purpose: caching, usage management / retention: until cache expiry
• PostHog, Inc. (USA) — items: access/usage statistics / purpose: usage analytics / retention: until end of contract

Users may refuse cross-border transfer; however, as such processing is essential to the Service, refusal may limit sign-up and use. Refusal can be exercised by account deletion or by contacting the officer below.

6. Third-Party Provision

The Company does not provide personal information to third parties without user consent, except where required by law or lawfully requested by investigative authorities.

7. Your Rights

Users may at any time request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of their personal information, and may withdraw consent by deleting their account. Requests submitted to the officer below are handled without delay.

8. Destruction

Personal information whose retention period has expired or whose purpose has been fulfilled is destroyed without delay. Electronic files are permanently deleted by irrecoverable means.

9. Security Measures

The Company takes the following measures: minimized and controlled access rights, encryption in transit and at rest (HTTPS, DB encryption), access-log retention, and minimized personnel handling personal information. Card details are not stored by the Company and are handled securely by the payment gateway.

10. Children Under 14

The Service is not directed at children under 14, and the Company does not collect their personal information. If such collection is identified, the information is destroyed without delay.

11. Cookies

The Company may use cookies for usage analytics. Users can refuse cookies in browser settings, which may limit some features.

12. Use of YouTube API Services

This Service uses YouTube API Services to provide channel and video analysis. Based on the channel or keyword you enter, it retrieves publicly available YouTube data (channel name, subscriber count, video titles, view counts, etc.), subject to the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Data retrieved via the API is used solely to provide the Service, and analysis reports are stored for up to 30 days before deletion.

14. Behavioral Information for Personalized Ads (Meta Pixel)

We collect and use behavioral information for personalized advertising and ad performance measurement as follows.

• Data collected: website visit records, page interaction history (e.g., analysis runs, completed payments), cookies and advertising identifiers
• Method: automatically collected in your browser via the Meta Pixel installed on this website
• Purpose: targeting and performance measurement of Meta ads (Instagram, Threads, Facebook)
• Retention & transfer: behavioral data is transmitted to Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA) and processed under Meta's Privacy Policy. We do not store raw behavioral data on our own servers.
• Opt-out: block cookies in your browser, or opt out of personalized ads in Meta Ad Preferences. Opting out does not limit your use of the Service.

15. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be amended per changes in law or the Service; amendments and effective dates are announced within the Service.
